What Fifthwill is
Fifthwill is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local shoppers. A shopper visits shops on a customer’s behalf for a session and reports what they find. Shoppers are independent people, not employees of Fifthwill.
What a session is, and is not
You pay for a shopper’s time and our service. You do not pay for merchandise through Fifthwill. If you decide to buy something, you do so directly with the shop. We do not buy, hold, ship or guarantee merchandise.
No guarantees about products
Shoppers report what they see on the day. Prices, availability and authenticity are not guaranteed by the shopper or by Fifthwill, and you should confirm them with the shop before you buy.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
Session prices are shown before you request a session. Your payment is taken when the shopper accepts and is held until the session is complete. Cancellation and refund terms apply.
Using Fifthwill responsibly
- Give accurate information, and keep your account secure.
- Treat shoppers, customers and shop staff with respect.
- Keep messages and payments on Fifthwill. Do not share contact details to arrange sessions elsewhere.
- Follow the rules of the shops a shopper visits, including any limits on photography.
- Do not use Fifthwill for anything unlawful, deceptive or unsafe.
Shoppers
Shoppers set their own rates and availability, are responsible for their own taxes, and agree to report honestly and respect customers’ privacy. Fifthwill keeps a service fee from each session price, as shown in the app.
Content
You keep ownership of what you create. By uploading photographs, video or text to a session, you let Fifthwill store and show it to the other person in that session, and to our team to help with support, as needed to provide the service.
Suspending accounts
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Fifthwill is not responsible for what is bought from shops, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
