If you know which shops are worth the trip and enjoy helping people find the right thing, you can do this for customers anywhere in the world, on your own schedule.
What you’ll do
Customers book a session with you. You visit shops on their behalf, photograph and film what you find, note fabrics, details and prices, and answer their questions as you go. They decide what to do next; you’re paid for your time and judgement.
How you’re paid
You set your hourly rate and the times you’re available. A session’s price is your rate for the time booked. Fifthwill keeps a service fee of 15% of that price; the rest is yours. Earnings are paid out after each completed session, and you can see what’s pending and paid in the app.
What we look for
- Real knowledge of the shops, markets and makers in your city.
- An eye for fabric, fit and finish, and the honesty to say what you see.
- Clear, friendly communication, in the languages your customers use.
- A smartphone, and comfort sending photographs and video.
How it works
Tell us about yourself using the form. We’ll write back when we’re recruiting in your city. Every application is read by a person, and you’ll be asked to complete a profile before you can take bookings.
What we ask of you
Report what you actually see. Don’t promise that something is available, reserved or authentic unless you’ve verified it. Don’t take payments or contact details off the platform. These are what make customers feel safe booking you.
